Setup a post Show Poll to get feedback on sessions, events, services, venue and city choice. Let the respondents know that their feedback will be used to improve next year’s show.

Green up your show. Post digital copies of your show guides, floor map, schedules, session handouts, exhibitor sales collateral. Create an “Event Documents” Tab.

Never use electronic funds, wire money (i.e. Western Union) or send personal or financial information to a third party. Doing so over the internet is especially dangerous.

Has a mobile phone application. Nowadays, everything has a mobile version. This is convenient as you can do things you usually do on a computer in your mobile phone. Be wary though as not all trading platforms already have an application for mobile. Metatrader 4 has an app for the iPhone so that means you can trade with just your smart phone in hand. You no longer need to stop trading just because you can’t be near your computer or laptop.

Create a value Highlight package for event attendees to justify your show’s value to their managers. Include listings of topics covered, keynote videos, etc.

Women prefer to receive text messages from guys than get a phone call. There is that buzz and excitement they get when they hear that beep and see that sign they got a new message. They prefer it to hearing their phone ring. Also it is more convenient as it doesn’t interrupt their day.

Attendee Connection – Kiosks located on the show floor that give attendees access to exhibitor brochures and session handouts. This helps attendees find the product info they need – fast.
